“Communication is everywhere and in all shapes and sizes. A broad concept that can go in all directions. After studying Journalism, I rolled into the ‘profession’. Meanwhile I am quite a few years further on and my view of communication has changed or rather clarified. As a consultant, for instance, you start looking more and more critically at the way you communicate. In conversations, on paper, online; everywhere we are talking to each other or trying to get someone’s attention. And that’s not easy given the many means of communication we have these days. I hear and see it around me every day, or perhaps I should say I don’t see and hear it at all. Are you still with me?”

Students with impact

Today I was allowed to present the Work Field Awards to talented graduates of Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda. Personally, I find it very important that there is always a good connection between the work field and study programs. After all, my future colleagues come from these courses. That is why it is important for a company that there are always good new students on the job market to inspire us, old-timers, with their new visions and views of our profession. For years now, we have been working with students from the Communications course who carry out an internship at TALK ABOUT.

TALK ABOUT: A PR-like company for ten years!

February 3, 2011: Today exactly ten years ago I picked up my new partner from Schiphol. She came back from a beautiful journey and together we started a great new journey; TALK ABOUT.

Press event 2018

On Thursday March 22, we organized the TALK ABOUT EXPERIENCE in Amsterdam. A press event where we presented the latest products of different customers and brands. Experience was the key of the event. The sensibilities of our media relations, who are already used to some things of course, had to be stimulated very well!
