What is influencer marketing?
Influencer marketing is a trend that has entered the PR profession at a high speed. It is presented as a hype, a new development within our profession. But nothing could be further from the truth: we already worked with influencers years ago! Only at that time they did not profile themselves online in large numbers, but mainly in the print media, on radio or TV. And we called them “ambassadors”. Nothing new under the sun, as long as you keep responding to the continuously changing media landscape. And let that be exactly our strength! Looking at the objectives you wish to achieve, we determine whether influencer marketing is a suitable tool and how we can best use it. We then make the match with the most suitable influencer (s).
Advertorial, review or action-based photo competition: a collaboration can go in almost any direction, provided it suits the brand, style and target group of the influencer (s).
