1. Albion, Boundery Street

Albion, a hip café and bakery in Shoreditch, is the place to be for a typical English breakfast. Bacon, sausages and toast with jam are freshly prepared here every day. Do you prefer a healthy start to the day? Breakfast with grilled sweet potato, baby spinach and a poached egg is a must!

2. Attendant, Great Eastern Street

When you are in Shoreditch, you really need to visit Attendant. The atmosphere here is relaxed, the interior is stylish and there are many healthy dishes on the menu. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with cappuccinos that were really worth it. Opposite this hotspot is The Hoxton Hotel, which is also a popular place to enjoy a lovely breakfast.

3. Dishoom, Boundary Street

This restaurant, fully furnished in Bombay-style, has a menu with many culinary delights. We had a place on the veranda, lovely on a sultry summer evening! The queues for dinner here are often long, but it is worth the wait. Nice detail: the reviews of the guests are printed on their plates.

4. Shoreditch House, Ebor Street

You can see the city from the roof terrace of Shoreditch House, a unique place in the district. This restaurant serves Italian specialities all day long. In the morning you can have breakfast here with homemade granola, eggs, bread, cakes or a complete English breakfast if you wish.

5. Counter Albion, Redchurch Street

One street further from Albion, is Counter Albion: a small shop with delicious cheeses, cold meats and wines. And this is not everything, the shop also has a small, specialized bookshop with unique books and magazines about food. In the evening Counter Albion is transformed into a cozy wine bar with delicious English delicacies with original of course that are on the menu.

6. BBB, Beach Blanket Babylon, Bethnal Green Road

After a long day strolling through the city, enjoy a cocktail at Beach Blanket Babylon. In the twilight, all the lights will be turned on. BBB is a fine place because of the beautiful decor, friendly service and delicious drinks.

7. Well & Bucket, Bethnal Green Road

Well & Bucket is one of London’s oldest pubs with a beautiful island bar in the middle. Ceramic tiles and vintage mirrors create an authentic atmosphere. You can choose from many different beers, but we enjoyed the delicious Gin-Tonics topped with fresh ingredients. In the basement is a trendy club with a fine cocktail bar.
